TeleSquads is the world’s first virtual experiential-learning and volunteer program for high school student groups on an international level.
STEM TeleSquads are an international collaboration to improve access to clean potable water in underserved communities in Honduras and Nicaragua. Each TeleSquad is a live case study of engineering challenges in which students collaborate with our engineer to map out and design a full water system in rural communities.
Each TeleSquad includes up to 16 live zoom sessions of (approximately 40 minutes each) that can be customized over the length of your schedule. TeleSquads may be adapted to a classroom or remote learning environment.
Water Science – Analyzing Potable Water Quality (Honduras)
Apply environmental science and chemical engineering fundamentals to test the quality and efficacy of clean water initiatives in Honduras
Technology I – Digitizing Sustainable Development (Panama)
Digitize Savings & Loan Portfolios for Banks: Learn about and participate in a live cloud-based implementation that connects rural banks throughout Central America.
Engineering III – Infrastructure for Sustainable Development (Honduras or Nicaragua)
Implement structural engineering concepts to design and select materials for projects such as bridges and buildings in Honduras and Nicaragua.
Engineering II – Home Repairs and Household Public Health Infrastructure in Central America
Use structural engineering fundamentals to design and select materials for home repairs and construction in rural Honduras and Nicaragua.
